Worthiness

Worthiness is the felt knowing that one is enough, deserving of love and good simply by virtue of being. It is the healing of the deep wound of not-enough, the recovery of an inheritance that was never truly lost. The traditions teach that worthiness is not earned by achievement but recognized as a birthright, the dignity of a soul that bears the divine image.

In New Thought, the sense of worthiness opens the channel of supply, for we tend to receive in the measure that we believe we may. In the contemplative and nondual streams, it is the discovery that the Self was always whole. To reclaim worthiness is to stop auditioning for a love that is already given, and to let oneself be filled by the abundance that the universe is always offering.
