Oneness and the absolute

Wholeness

Wholeness is the truth that reality is undivided, and that the fragments we perceive are abstractions laid over a seamless ground. Nothing exists in isolation; each thing is a fold in a single cloth, and to wound one part is to disturb the whole. To live from wholeness is to act as a participant in an unbroken movement rather than a fragment defending itself against the rest.

The traditions hold that health, holiness, and wholeness spring from the same root, for to be whole is to be at one with the all. The seeker who realizes this stops striving to assemble a self out of broken pieces and instead rests in the completeness already present. What was sought is discovered to have been the seeker's own nature, never partial, never missing anything.
