Oneness and the absolute
Unity
Unity is oneness made intimate - the lived sense of belonging to a single fabric of being. Where oneness names the truth that all is one, unity is the felt union, the harmony in which apparent opposites are reconciled and the many are gathered into the One without being erased. It is the marriage of the soul with its source, and of each part with the whole.

The sages teach that discord is only unity unrecognized. To enter unity is to feel the boundary of the small self grow porous, until life flows through you rather than against you. In that union the heart finds rest, for it no longer stands outside the wholeness it longs for; it remembers it was never separate at all.
