The mind beneath the mind
Superconscious
Above the reasoning mind and beneath nothing but the Divine lies the superconscious, the higher mind through which infinite intelligence reaches into a human life. It is called the higher self, the Christ within, the indwelling wisdom that already knows the perfect plan and waits only to be led forth into manifestation. Where the subconscious obeys and the conscious mind chooses, the superconscious inspires; it is the source of intuition, genius, healing, and the sudden knowing that arrives unbidden.

The mystics of New Thought taught that to touch this level is to draw upon a power not your own personal will but the One Mind working through you. Prayer, stillness, and surrender open the channel; the small self steps aside and the higher self acts. To live from the superconscious is to be moved by a wisdom larger than the intellect, to let the infinite think and create through the finite.
