The mind beneath the mind
Suggestion
Suggestion is the means by which an idea is planted in the deeper mind and there transformed into reality. The subjective mind is constantly amenable to control by suggestion; it does not weigh or dispute but accepts the idea offered and seeks to embody it. Every word, image, and feeling we entertain is a suggestion to ourselves, and most people are unwittingly programmed by the careless, the fearful, and the borrowed suggestions of others. The awakened use this law deliberately, choosing what to impress and repeating it until it takes root.

A peculiar aptitude exists in the receptive mind for turning the accepted idea into an act. To govern one's own suggestions is to govern one's own becoming.
