Reality
Reality is what remains when every appearance has been questioned. In the nondual traditions it is not the world of separate objects but the one seamless awareness in which all objects arise. The teachers point repeatedly to a single Real, behind the shifting show of names and forms, that is the seeker's own deepest nature.
Vedanta draws the great distinction between the Real and the unreal, between Brahman and the passing universe, and trains the mind to discern one from the other. Modern nondual teachers invite the same recognition through direct inquiry into experience itself. To meet reality is to stop arguing with what is and to rest in the awareness that was never apart from it.
In their words
A firm conviction of the mind to the effect that Brahman is real and the universe unreal, is designated as discrimination (Viveka) between the Real and the unreal.
When you argue with reality, you lose, but only 100% of the time.
Consciousness is the one and only reality.
Awareness which has absolute freedom of all knowledge and activity is the Self or nature of Reality.
