Abundance and the practical

Prosperity

Prosperity is abundance made concrete and ongoing: a settled condition of having enough and to spare, understood as the outward expression of an inward spiritual order. In New Thought it is treated as a law as dependable as gravity, worked through gratitude, tithing, forgiveness, and the steady affirmation of one's divine supply. The prosperous life is the life of one who has tuned mind and heart to the flow of universal good.

The teachers here, from the New Thought prosperity writers to the preachers of the prosperity gospel, hold that poverty is not piety and that the same Source that clothes the lilies intends increase for its children. The work is to release every belief in lack, to bless what one has, and to give freely so that the channel stays open. Money becomes a sacrament of circulation rather than a thing to be clutched.
True prosperity is the ability to use God's power to meet the needs of mankind in any realm of life.
There is only one source through which true riches ever come, and that is the Great Source of all Substance, God.
