Nonduality
Nonduality - advaita, not-two - is the direct seeing that there is no real division between subject and object, knower and known, self and world. It does not assert that everything is mashed into a featureless one; it points instead to the fact that the line we draw between in here and out there is imagined. There is experiencing, but no separate experiencer standing behind it.

This is the razor's edge of the wisdom traditions: the place where philosophy becomes recognition. Through inquiry - asking who, exactly, is looking - the seeker discovers that the seeker cannot be found, and what remains is awareness aware of itself. To rest there is to be free, for nothing can threaten a self that was never a thing apart.
