Magnetism
Magnetism is the drawing power, the force by which one being or one state attracts another to itself. The Mesmerists first named it animal magnetism, a subtle fluid by which the heavenly bodies, the earth, and living things exert a mutual influence; the New Thought writers inherited the image and taught of personal magnetism, the radiant pull of a charged and confident mind. To be magnetic is to so fully embody a state that it reaches out and gathers its like, drawing people, opportunities, and conditions toward you without grasping.

The teaching turns the seeker inward: you do not chase, you magnetize. Become a vibrational match to what you desire, hold the inner state until it saturates you, and let the law of attraction do the carrying. The grasping hand repels; the magnetized heart attracts. This is the quiet confidence of the traditions, that by becoming the thing within, you cause it to come to you from without.
