Vitality
Life force is the animating power itself, the breath of life that distinguishes the living from the inert. Every great tradition has felt it and named it: prana in India, carried on the breath; qi in China, circulating through the meridians; ki in Japan, channelled in Reiki; the vital force of the early healers and the spiritual energy of faith. It is not produced by the body but flows through it, drawn from an inexhaustible source. To be vital, radiant, and well is simply to have this current moving freely; to be depleted is to have it blocked or scattered.
