How mind makes reality

Imagination

Imagination is the creative faculty by which mind forms an inner image and that image becomes the seed of outer fact. In this lineage it is not idle fancy but the very organ of creation: the place where the unseen is first conceived before it is given to the senses. To imagine a state is to begin occupying it, and the world is understood as the slow precipitation of what has already been pictured within.

The tradition treats the imagination as a real causal agent rather than a decorative one. Neville Goddard calls it the gateway of reality and the one true God; Blake names it the eternal world itself; Paracelsus and the alchemists work it as a force that shapes body and matter; the Sufi imaginal world of Ibn Arabi and Corbin gives it an ontological home between sense and intellect. To learn imagination is to learn the first movement of creation itself.
