Forgiveness
Forgiveness is the release of grievance, the laying down of the inner charge we carry against the world, another, or ourselves. In this lineage it is far more than a moral courtesy; it is a way of seeing that dissolves the very condition the grievance rests on. To forgive is to withdraw the projection, to stop insisting that something out there must change before peace can come.

The teachers make forgiveness the central practice of inner liberation. A Course in Miracles makes it the one work that undoes illusion and restores the awareness of love; the Hawaiian Ho'oponopono stream of Hew Len treats cleaning and total responsibility as continual forgiveness; Catherine Ponder teaches it as the secret release that frees prosperity and health. Forgiveness clears the channel, returning the mind to its natural, unburdened state.
