How mind makes reality

Creation

Creation is the central claim of the mind-power stream: that thought, impressed upon a formless creative substance, brings forth the thing it images. There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and a thought in that substance produces the very thing conceived. Mind gives birth to thought and then uses its thought as the model of its creation, as an artist conceives a picture before the brush ever moves. Each person is, in their own sphere, a creative center through which the original creative power continues its work.

To create, one forms a clear and definite mental image, charges it with faith, and conveys it to the formless substance as a finished fact. This is not striving against the world but cooperation with the law by which all things come into being. The creative impulse springs from imagination, and the disciplined imagination becomes a workshop of realities. The seeker awakens to being not a victim of conditions but their author and cause.
There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought, in this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.Wallace Wattles
