David Wilcock

David Wilcock (1973–2026) was an American author, lecturer, and researcher in the ascension and “disclosure” wing of New Age culture. He rose to prominence partly through the claim that he was a reincarnation of the psychic Edgar Cayce, and through his association with the Law of One (Ra) channeled material, which he interpreted and promoted for a new audience.

His best-known book, The Source Field Investigations (2011), was a New York Times bestseller; he followed it with The Synchronicity Key (2013), The Ascension Mysteries (2016), and Awakening in the Dream (2020), and reached large audiences through his website Divine Cosmos, the Ancient Aliens series, and the program Wisdom Teachings.

He died in 2026 at the age of 53. Wilcock’s contribution to the mind-power lineage is his attempt to give the ascension narrative a pseudo-scientific frame. The Source Field Investigations posits a universal energetic substrate—the “Source Field”—out of which matter, biology, and consciousness emerge, and argues that the pineal gland is the organ through which humans tune into this field to expand psychic and intuitive capacity (with 2012 and astrological cycles as triggers).

Whether or not one classes him as a channel in the strict sense, his work sits squarely in the galactic-channeling ecosystem: it popularizes pineal/ascension energetics, synchronicity-as-cosmic-signal, and the Law of One density model, and it became a major node of online “disclosure” spirituality.
