Solara

Solara (a mononym; no reliably verifiable birth year is available) is an American author and ascension teacher best known as the visionary behind the 11:11 phenomenon. Through her small press, Star-Borne, she published a series of esoteric and visionary books—including The Star-Borne: A Remembrance for the Awakened Ones, 11:11 – Inside the Doorway, and EL•AN•RA: The Healing of Orion—and in 1992 facilitated the “Opening of the 11:11 Doorway,” a coordinated set of activation events in which she reports over 144,000 people participated worldwide, with a gate ceremony held in Egypt.

Solara’s central contribution is the framework of the “11:11 Doorway,” which she describes as a bridge between two evolutionary spirals—Duality and Oneness—opened to create a “Zone of Overlap” enabling a shift from a duality-based to a unity-based reality.

She is widely credited within New Age culture with popularising attention to the repeating number 11:11 as a synchronistic “wake-up” signal, a meme that long outgrew her original framework and now circulates broadly as number synchronicity.

This entry describes her teachings and the events she organised neutrally; the metaphysical claims are her own and not independently verified.
