The transmission
Silver RavenWolf (born Jenine Trayer, 1956) is an American author who became one of the best-selling and most commercially visible witchcraft writers of the late 1990s and 2000s.
Drawing on Wicca and on Pennsylvania Dutch “Pow-wow” folk magic, she produced an accessible, upbeat, self-help-inflected style of practical witchcraft. Her book To Ride a Silver Broomstick and especially Teen Witch (1998) brought witchcraft to a young mass audience, making her a polarizing figure: hugely popular with newcomers, often criticized by more traditional practitioners for oversimplification.
Regardless, her commercial reach made her a major vector for spellcraft-as-self-empowerment in popular culture.

- Self-help fusion: Blended witchcraft with positive-thinking and personal-empowerment framing, bridging Pagan practice and manifestation culture.
