The transmission
Eric Pearl (b. c. 1955) is an American former chiropractor who reports that, beginning in the 1990s, his patients started experiencing spontaneous healings, which he attributes to a new spectrum of “Reconnective” healing frequencies.
He developed and trademarked “Reconnective Healing” and “The Reconnection,” teaching them in workshops worldwide. His book The Reconnection: Heal Others, Heal Yourself presents the practice as accessing tangible energetic frequencies (which practitioners often feel as palpable sensations) said to facilitate healing without specific technique or diagnosis.
The work is marketed with references to scientific study, though its empirical basis is widely contested. Pearl built a large international training organization around the modality.
What they gave
Reconnective Healing modality: A distinct frequency-based healing system taught globally.
- Palpable-frequency framing: Centers the felt sensation of “frequencies” as evidence of an energetic field.
- No-technique simplicity: Promotes healing as accessing a field rather than applying specific procedures.
- Large training network: Spread the modality through workshops and certifications worldwide.
The line they stand in
Influenced by: the energy-healing tradition; his chiropractic background; claims of spontaneous/channeled healing.
- Influenced: Reconnective Healing practitioners; the frequency-healing community.
