The transmission
Joseph McMoneagle is a retired U.S. Army officer who served as Remote Viewer #001 in the Army’s Stargate Project, working with the Stanford Research Institute. He was awarded the Legion of Merit for his intelligence contributions. He retired from the Army in 1984 and continued consulting on remote viewing.

He participated in pioneering government remote-viewing experiments and later authored books on the subject, teaching the practice to the public.
