A Teacher

Aurelia Louise Jones

c.1940-2009 Theosophy Telos / Lemurian channeling

Inner-earth master contact (Telos, Mount Shasta)

Aurelia Louise Jones (born in Montreal, of a French-Canadian family, in the early 1940s; died July 2009) was a channel and author who founded Mount Shasta Light Publishing and became the principal voice of the “Telos” teachings.

After moving to Mount Shasta, California, in 1998, she presented herself as a channel for Adama, described as high priest of Telos, a city said to exist beneath the mountain peopled by survivors of the lost continent of Lemuria.

Her Telos trilogy, beginning with Telos Volume 1: Revelations of the New Lemuria, set out these teachings together with related works on the “sacred flames.” Jones’s relevance to the mind-power lineage is as a late, vivid instance of the channeling and Ascended-Master current, here fused with the Theosophical mythology of root-races and lost continents and localized at Mount Shasta, long a magnet for American esoteric pilgrimage.

Her teaching frames human beings as multidimensional souls who chose incarnation for spiritual evolution and who can, through love, purification, and inner attunement, recover contact with higher “Lemurian” consciousness.

Beyond its specific cosmology, the work carries the familiar mind-power themes of soul-choice, hidden inner knowledge, and the transformation of identity through devotion and disciplined inner practice, sustaining the inner-earth and ascension subcultures of the contemporary New Age.

Telos / Lemurian teaching: Channeled a detailed cosmology of inner-earth masters and lost-continent consciousness centered on Mount Shasta.

  • Master-contact through attunement: Framed higher contact as achievable via love, purification, and inner alignment rather than external authority.
  • Soul-choice and multidimensional self: Emphasized incarnation as deliberate soul-choice for spiritual evolution.
  • A focal New Age site and literature: Anchored a body of teaching and a publishing house in the Mount Shasta esoteric milieu.

Influenced by: The Lemuria / lost-continent mythos; Ascended-Master teachings; the Theosophical root-race doctrine; the channeling tradition.

  • Influenced: The Mount Shasta New Age community; readers of the Telos / Lemurian-connection material; inner-earth and ascension subcultures.
