The transmission
Jayem (born Jon Marc Hammer, 1955) is an American spiritual teacher, artist, and author best known as the scribe of The Way of Mastery. The material is presented as channeled: beginning in 1987, Jayem describes receiving a three-year series of monthly lessons from a discarnate voice identifying itself as Jeshua (Jesus / the Christ-mind).
Those lessons were compiled into the Christ Mind Trilogy — The Way of the Heart (year one), The Way of Transformation (year two), and The Way of Knowing (year three) — collectively The Way of Mastery.
The teaching is delivered in a warm, conversational register and is widely read as a more experiential, feeling-centered companion to A Course in Miracles: where ACIM is dense and metaphysical, the Way of Mastery emphasizes direct emotional experience, embodiment, and a moment-to-moment choice for love.
Jayem’s place in the Atlas is as a contemporary voice of the Christ-mind / ACIM lineage restated in an experiential key. The core teaching — that only love is real, that fear is a self-made illusion to be embraced and released rather than fought, and that awakening proceeds by feeling fully rather than by concept — connects him to the nondual unity and forgiveness themes shared with Williamson, Renard, and the ACIM stream, and to the emotional-acceptance pole of practice (Sedona, welcoming, RAIN).
It should be noted neutrally that the source material is claimed channeled communication (“Jeshua”); the Atlas treats this as a faithfully described origin claim, not an empirical fact, while the practices themselves can be evaluated on their own terms.
What they gave
Love over fear, experientially framed: Recast the ACIM choice-for-love as a felt, moment-to-moment practice (“choose the Voice for Love moment to moment”).
- Feeling as the doorway: Made fully feeling emotion — especially fear and pain — the central method, not an obstacle to bypass (“Feeling is everything”).
- Christ-mind forgiveness: Restated forgiveness as seeing past form/body to the innocence (the “Christ”) in self and other.
- A warmer ACIM: Brought the strict ACIM metaphysics into an accessible, embodied, devotional voice.
The line they stand in
Taught by / Influenced by: A Course in Miracles; the channeled “Jeshua” teachings (as Jayem describes them).
- Taught / Influenced: the Way of Mastery community (Shanti Christo Foundation and study circles).
