Andrea Hess

Andrea Hess is an American intuitive practitioner and author who works as a professional psychic from around 2005 and, in 2007, founded Soul Realignment® — a structured method she teaches for reading the Akashic records (a claimed nonphysical “database” of every soul’s history) in order to identify and “clear” the karmic and energetic “blocks” said to keep a person from their soul-level potential.

The system is taught as a certification course and has, by the program’s own account, drawn close to 3,000 students across more than forty countries. Hess is also the author of Unlocking Your Divine Business Blueprint, applying the same framework to vocation and entrepreneurship.

Hess’s place in this Atlas is as a contemporary node in the Akashic-records / energy-clearing stream — alongside figures such as Christie Marie Sheldon’s “abundance blocks” and ThetaHealing’s “belief work.” Her distinctive contribution is the procedural packaging: a repeatable, pendulum-based reading protocol (Discovery → Understanding → Clearing) that turns an open-ended divinatory claim into a teachable, step-by-step method.

The method’s central empirical problem must be stated plainly: reading the Akashic records is a clairvoyance/divination claim for which there is no controlled evidence, and pendulum-based “readings” are explained in mainstream science by the ideomotor effect (the dowser’s own unconscious micro-movements) rather than by access to any external record.

What survives that scrutiny is the modality’s psychological layer — taking responsibility for long-standing patterns and consciously making a new choice — which stands on its own merits independent of the metaphysics.
