A Teacher
Suzanne Giesemann
A Navy commander who learned to listen until the dead, and the divine, answer back.
The transmission
Suzanne Giesemann is a former U.S. Navy commander who served as aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff before a personal tragedy turned her toward spiritual work.
After her stepdaughter was killed by lightning, she trained as a medium and now teaches evidential mediumship and a practice she calls ‘The Awakened Way,’ delivering messages she attributes to a group consciousness she names Sanaya.
She has been studied under controlled conditions by survival researchers and is the author of more than a dozen books bridging grief, science, and contact with non-physical awareness.
What they gave
Evidential mediumship as discipline: Reframed contact with the dead as a testable practice of trained attention, submitting to controlled study by survival researchers.
- “The Awakened Way”: Built a structured method for living from divine guidance rather than mere consolation.
- Sanaya transmissions: Delivers teachings she attributes to a group consciousness she names Sanaya, bridging grief and contact.
- Science-and-spirit bridge: Authored over a dozen books joining her Navy-trained rigor to questions of survival and the afterlife.
The line they stand in
Taught by / Influenced by: Edgar Cayce’s readings and the survival research of the Monroe Institute’s A.R.E. current; the nondual teaching of A Course in Miracles.
- Taught / Influenced: Contemporary evidential-mediumship practitioners; the wider grief and afterlife-studies community.
