Marc Gafni is an American philosopher, writer, and former Orthodox rabbi who became a contemporary spiritual teacher drawing on modern Kabbalah and integral theory.

He developed the ‘Unique Self’ teaching and co-founded the Center for World Spirituality, later the Center for Integral Wisdom, in association with integral theorist Ken Wilber.

His work centers on eros, ‘Outrageous Love,’ and a project he calls World Spirituality. He is a controversial figure who has faced decades of sexual-misconduct allegations, which he denies, and his rabbinic standing was revoked.
