Richard Dotts

Richard Dotts is a contemporary self-published author of a large catalogue of short, accessible manifestation books (such as Banned Manifestation Secrets, It’s Done!, and Light Touch Manifestations).

Writing in a plain, conversational style, he draws heavily on Neville Goddard and the broader New Thought tradition, emphasizing that manifestation works best through feeling and effortless allowing rather than strained effort, repetitive technique, or “trying too hard.” His recurring theme is the “light touch”: briefly assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled and then releasing all attachment and need, trusting that the impression has been made.

Dotts’s place in the Atlas is as a representative of the contemporary Neville-lineage, effortlessness-focused strand of manifestation self-publishing. His central correction to typical Law-of-Attraction practice—that grasping and over-effort signal disbelief, and that release and ease are the operative attitude—restates Neville’s “feeling is the secret” together with the surrender/allowing theme found across the Atlas (Elan’s “allowance,” Abraham-Hicks’s “alignment,” the Quietist and Daoist surrender streams).

He exemplifies the e-book era’s high-volume, low-friction transmission of New Thought ideas to a self-study audience, and the persistent tension the Atlas tracks between effort and effortlessness in manifestation practice.
