A Teacher
Mike Dooley
Thoughts become things
The transmission
Mike Dooley is an American author and speaker best known for his “Notes from the Universe”—short, second-person daily affirmations written as if from “the Universe” to the reader—and for the slogan “Thoughts become things.” A former Price Waterhouse accountant turned manifestation teacher, he gained wide visibility as one of the contributors featured in the 2006 film The Secret, which propelled his Notes and books such as Infinite Possibilities to a large audience.
Dooley’s significance lies in his packaging of law-of-attraction ideas into a daily, friendly, and habit-forming digital format. By distributing affirmations directly to inboxes and framing the universe as a benevolent collaborator, he helped shape the everyday tone and ritual of online manifestation culture.
His work is theologically light and optimistic, emphasizing imagination, expectation, and “taking action” while trusting the universe to arrange the “hows.”

In their words
To do your best, with what you have, from where you are. Everything else is just stalling.
Shhhhh…The secret to living the life of your dreams is to start living the life of your dreams, at once, to any degree that you possibly can.
When you understand someone, truly understand someone, no matter who they are, you cannot help but love ’em, even though you might not always love what they do.
STOP seeing yourself as just human! You are pure energy, with an infinite reach.
Contrary to popular thinking, being worthy isn’t something you earn, it’s something you recognize.
Never compromise a dream. Do what you must. The fears, beasts, and mountains before you are part of the plan. Stepping stones to a promised land.
The one thing all famous authors, world class athletes, business tycoons, singers, actors, and celebrated achievers in any field have in common is that they all began their journeys when they were none of these things.
