Damon Brand

Damon Brand is a contemporary author and a founding member of The Gallery of Magick, a collective of occult practitioners who publish widely read, deliberately practical books on modern magick.

He has described selling his first book as a teenager and later joining with other occultists to form a working group, ultimately numbering around seventeen members, dedicated to testing magickal techniques for reliability and results.

The Gallery’s output appears under several names, including Brand, Adam Blackthorne, Gordon Winterfield, and Zanna Blaise, with Brand among the most prolific. His books, such as Magickal Riches, Magickal Protection, Archangels of Magick, and Financial Transformation Magick, strip ceremonial and grimoire material down to clear, step-by-step rituals aimed at concrete outcomes: money, protection, confidence, and life change.

Within the Atlas, Brand sits in the chaos-and-results-magick stream: he carries the pragmatic, “use what works” ethos of chaos magick and combines it with Kabbalistic and angelic sources, presenting magick less as elaborate tradition than as a practical mind-and-will technology for shaping circumstance.

His emphasis on belief, focused intent, and sigil work links him directly to the mind-power thesis that directed attention can alter outcomes.
