Darryl Anka / Bashar
Follow your highest excitement
The transmission
Darryl Anka (born 1951) is an American film-industry special-effects artist who, following two reported daytime UFO sightings in Los Angeles in the 1970s, began in 1983 to channel an entity he calls “Bashar,” described as an extraterrestrial being from a civilization called Essassani existing in a parallel near-future reality.
Since then Anka has delivered the Bashar material through hundreds of public “transmissions,” workshops, and recordings, building one of the most enduring and methodically organized channeling enterprises of the modern era, with foundational presentations such as Blueprint for Change (1990).
Bashar’s distinctive contribution is the compression of sprawling metaphysical cosmology into a tight, almost algorithmic operating system for reality navigation. The model holds that physical reality reflects one’s “state of being,” that all possible realities already exist as parallel “frequencies,” and that one shifts among them by changing vibration.
Its signature instruction—“follow your highest excitement, to the best of your ability, with zero insistence on the outcome”—reframes manifestation not as forcing a result but as a moment-to-moment navigational principle that aligns the operator with their preferred parallel reality.
This excitement-as-compass formula, paired with the parallel-realities framing, made Bashar unusually influential in the modern manifestation and “reality shifting” scene, functioning as a streamlined, action-oriented descendant of the Seth material.
What they gave
The highest-excitement principle: Supplies a single navigational instruction—follow your highest excitement with no insistence on outcome—as the operative manifestation method.
- Reality reflects state of being: Frames the external world as a direct mirror of one’s vibrational state, making inner state the lever.
- Parallel realities / frequency-shifting: Treats all outcomes as pre-existing parallel frequencies one tunes into, an explicit “shifting” cosmology.
- Zero insistence on outcome: Builds non-attachment directly into the method, echoing Zeland’s “reduced importance” and nondual release.
In their words
Choose your highest excitement and act on it to the best of your ability.
