Love or Above

To deliberately raise one’s emotional/‘vibrational’ state from lower frequencies (fear, anger, shame) toward ‘Love or Above’, using guided meditations, visualizations, and short clearing exercises — claimed to dissolve inner blocks and increase one’s magnetism for desired outcomes.

Beginner 10–30 min Energy Work / New Age
Love or Above in 5 lines: (1) Notice your current low-frequency feeling.

(2) Run a short clearing — attention, breath, intention to release.

(3) Raise state via a love/gratitude meditation and picturing what you want as present.

(4) Anchor the “Love or Above” feeling as your set-point.

(5) Repeat to build the baseline. It’s mood/state regulation; the “vibration attracts abundance” claim is unsupported — and watch for toxic positivity and self-blame.

“Love or Above” is Christie Marie Sheldon’s program for deliberately lifting your inner state toward love and above on her vibrational scale. The premise: everything — including thoughts and emotions — “vibrates” at a frequency; lower states (fear, anger, guilt) keep you stuck, while reaching “Love or Above” (she pegs this around 500 on a Hawkins-style scale) clears inner blocks and makes you “magnetic” to the outcomes, people, and synchronicities you want.

The practical product is a toolkit of short experiences — guided meditations, visualizations, and “clearing” exercises — meant to raise your vibration quickly and on demand.

The program is a set of exercises rather than one fixed drill; the common moves:

  1. Locate your current state. Notice where you are emotionally/“vibrationally” right now — name the lower-frequency feeling (fear, frustration, lack).
  2. Run a clearing. Use a short guided clearing exercise to “release” the block — typically a combination of intention, focused attention on the feeling, breathing, and a statement of release. Sheldon notes people may feel sleepy, energized, tearful, yawn, or feel nothing — all framed as “processing.”
  3. Raise the vibration. Use a guided meditation or visualization to shift up the scale — generating the felt sense of love, gratitude, and appreciation, picturing desired outcomes already present, and amplifying the positive feeling.
  4. Anchor “Love or Above.” Hold the elevated state, intending to make it your baseline / set-point rather than a one-off.
  5. Repeat to build the set-point. The toolkit is meant to be used regularly so the higher state becomes more habitual and you “operate” from there. (Faithful summary of the publicly described toolkit; “Love or Above,” “raise your vibration,” and “clearing” are Sheldon’s terms. Not a reproduction of copyrighted material.)

Christie Marie Sheldon is an intuitive life-coach and author whose Love or Above became one of Mindvalley’s best-known programs.

Its lineage is explicit: David Hawkins’ “Map of Consciousness” (the numbered scale of emotional “calibrations,” with courage at 200 and love at 500), the law of attraction / New Thought idea that inner state magnetizes outer results, and the broad energy-clearing tradition of releasing “blocks.” Within this library it sits with other state-priming and raise-your-state practices (see cross-links), distinguished by its vibrational-scale framing.

Toxic positivity. “Stay high-vibe” can become suppression or shaming of normal, useful negative emotions. Feel them first; don’t bypass.

  • Self-blame. “You attract your reality” curdles into blaming yourself (or others) for misfortune, illness, or abuse. Reject that move.
  • Chasing a number. Don’t fixate on “calibrating” at 500; use the practice to shift state, not to score yourself.
  • Crediting the vibration. If things improve, that’s plausibly your changed behaviour and openness — not a magnetic frequency.
  • Replacing action/treatment. Raising your state is not a substitute for practical steps or medical care.
