Tune to the Frequency

To shift your dominant emotional state to the felt frequency of your desire fulfilled — feeling it as real now — rather than affirming it as a future want.

Beginner 10-20 min daily, plus brief 'frequency check-ins' through the day Contemporary New Thought / Law Of Attraction Manifestation
Tune to the frequency in 5 lines: Get clear on your heart’s desire, then find the feeling it promises. Quiet yourself (breath helps), focus full attention on that state, and feel it as already true right now — not someday, not as a want. Hold the frequency, let action and opportunity flow from it, surrender the “how.” Re-tune in brief check-ins through the day.

Eric John Campbell frames reality as energy organised by frequency: “Your life is like a radio station where you get to choose what you want to listen to by changing your receiver’s frequency.” Your focused attention is the dial — “wherever your focus goes, your energy flows” — and the practice is to deliberately tune yourself to the feeling-frequency of your dream life and live in it now. Crucially for Campbell, you don’t manifest by wanting (wanting broadcasts lack); you manifest by embodying the emotion of already having it. Because he also teaches that “time is an illusion,” the dream life isn’t a distant future to reach — it’s a frequency you can occupy in the present moment. The lever is feeling, not effort.

Synthesised faithfully from his book and essays:

  1. Get clear on your heart’s desire. Not a surface want — the life or state your heart actually longs for. Campbell stresses becoming genuinely clear before you focus, so attention has somewhere to flow.
  2. Identify the feeling underneath it. Ask what feeling the desire promises — happiness, wealth, love, safety, satisfaction, freedom. Campbell teaches you focus “on feelings that represent the existence you desire,” not on the object. The feeling is the real target.
  3. Settle and direct attention. Quiet yourself (he often pairs this with breathwork to calm and “redirect energy”). Then place your focused attention fully on that desired state — “your focused attention is your superpower.”
  4. Feel it as already true — now. Generate the emotion of the desire fulfilled, in the present tense. Don’t picture it as coming someday; drop into the felt sense of living it right now. This is the “illusion of time” applied: you “live in the frequency of your heart’s dream life right now.” Let the body actually feel the happiness/wealth/love.
  5. Hold the frequency, courageously allow. Stay in the feeling-state and “courageously allow whatever comes up to enter your life” — including discomfort or fear, which he treats as part of the process rather than a sign to stop. Don’t grip for a specific outcome; surrender control of how it arrives.
  6. Check in through the day. Beyond a set session, Campbell wants the frequency maintained: brief check-ins where you ask “what am I tuned to right now?” and consciously re-select the dream-life feeling. It’s a dominant-state practice, not a one-off visualization. (Sourcing note: “radio station/frequency,” “where your focus goes your energy flows / your superpower,” “feelings that represent the existence you desire,” and the “illusion of time → live in the frequency now” teaching are Campbell’s, from the cited sources. The step sequencing is faithful paraphrase.)

Campbell developed this after a self-described spiritual awakening (“wake up, it’s all energy”) and training in breathwork, meditation, and energy practices. His A Manual For Manifesting Your Dream Life (2020) is the primary text.

The method is a contemporary restatement of the Law of Attraction lineage — Abraham-Hicks’ “vibrational frequency / get into alignment,” Neville Goddard’s “assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled,” and the broader New Thought claim that inner state precedes outer circumstance.

His “feeling, not wanting” emphasis and “live in it now” are especially close to Neville’s assumption work.

Neville Goddard — feeling of the wish fulfilled / SATS — assume and feel the desired state as already real; nearly identical core.,

  • Abraham-Hicks — emotional alignment / vibrational frequency — match your feeling-state to the desire; Campbell’s “radio frequency” is the same model.
  • Coué’s autosuggestion — impressing a state on the subconscious, though via repetition rather than felt frequency.
  • Sports/clinical mental rehearsal — the supported cousin: vividly simulating an outcome to prime motivation and performance (without the external-magnet claim).

Feeling wanting instead of having. Campbell’s key correction: wanting broadcasts lack. Drop into the feeling of already living it.

  • Treating it as future tense. “Someday” keeps it at a distance. The “illusion of time” instruction is to feel it now.
  • Focusing on the object, not the feeling. The car/house/partner is the symbol; the feeling is the frequency. Aim at the feeling.
  • Using it to avoid action. Feeling abundant is not a substitute for the concrete steps abundance usually requires. Let the state energise action, not replace it.
  • Gripping the “how.” Campbell pairs feeling with surrender — hold the state, release the demand for a specific mechanism and timeline.
