What it was
The Findhorn Foundation grew from a caravan-park garden tended by Eileen Caddy, Peter Caddy and Dorothy Maclean from 1962, who reported working in cooperation with the intelligences of nature.
It became one of the founding centres of the New Age movement and an enduring intentional community and education centre, shaped also by writer David Spangler.
Its place in the lineage
A living New Age laboratory where the mind-power idea — that consciousness shapes the world — was put to communal, practical test.
