What it was
Growing from the Summit Lighthouse (founded 1958) into the Church Universal and Triumphant in 1975, the movement led by Mark and then Elizabeth Clare Prophet delivered dictations from the Ascended Masters and taught decrees, reincarnation and the Violet Flame.
It became one of the most prominent late-20th-century Ascended-Master organisations.
Its place in the lineage
The major modern continuation of the Theosophy → I AM Ascended-Master lineage.
