What it was
Helena and Nicholas Roerich founded the Agni Yoga Society in New York in the 1920s to publish the “Living Ethics” — a body of teaching Helena said was given by the master Morya.
A Theosophical offshoot, Agni Yoga (the “yoga of fire”) presents an ethics of conscious evolution and remains active through the Roerich centres.
Its place in the lineage
A second major branch off Theosophy, parallel to Alice Bailey’s work, carrying the Masters teaching into the twentieth century.
