How To
have more energy and aliveness
Low energy can feel purely physical, but much of our vitality is shaped by how we hold and move the body and where we place the mind. You can actively prime a more alive state rather than waiting to feel like it, and the practices that do so are where every path below works.

Simple, deliberate movements can shift the body out of sluggishness and into flow. A short daily routine wakes the system and builds steady vitality over time.
- Stand and take a few deep, full breaths.
- Tap or massage a few key points, under the collarbones and around the eyes, briskly for a few seconds each.
- Cross your arms and tap opposite shoulders, then sweep the hands down the body.
- Stretch and shake out the limbs to get things moving.
- Do this short sequence each morning and notice the lift.
Gentle, mindful movement and breath gather and circulate the body’s vital energy. Practiced regularly, it leaves you calmer and more alive at once.
- Stand with knees slightly bent and shoulders relaxed.
- Breathe slowly into the lower belly.
- Raise the arms gently on the inhale, lower them on the exhale, in an easy flow.
- Imagine warm energy gathering in the belly and circulating through the body.
- Continue for five to ten unhurried minutes.
Your physiology drives your energy. Changing posture, breath, and movement quickly can shift you into a stronger, more vibrant state within minutes.
- Stand tall, shoulders back, chest open.
- Breathe fully and quickly for several breaths to energize.
- Move your body, walk briskly, or shake out the arms for two minutes.
- Recall a time you felt fully alive and step back into that feeling.
- Carry that primed state into whatever you do next.
Aliveness is not only something you have; it is something you can generate. Whether you reset the body, cultivate energy through gentle movement, or prime a peak state, you stop waiting to feel energized and start creating the state on purpose.
