Its central claim is that the believer can speak God's promises into reality, claiming health and material blessing as a rightful inheritance.
The argument casts daily positive confession as a practice that installs belief through repeated reinforcement, and teaches that giving, often figured as planting seed, unlocks financial increase. The mechanism reformulates the New Thought creative-word idea in a televangelist key.
Within the Word of Faith tradition the book helped carry the teaching to a global broadcast audience. Its honest framing keeps mechanism separate from fault: belief-as-cause may carry psychological effect, but the implication that the sick or poor simply lacked faith does not follow and is rejected.
