Practical Sigil Magic
Witchcraft & Chaos MagicPractical Sigil Magic systematizes Austin Osman Spare's sigil technique into a clear, teachable procedure. Its central claim is that a desire encoded into an abstract sigil and then charged while the conscious mind is bypassed can sink into and operate through the subconscious.
The method moves from formulating a statement of intent, to condensing it into a glyph, to charging that glyph in a state that suspends ordinary awareness. Magic is framed experimentally and results-first, with belief itself treated as a tool to be adopted and discarded.
Within the chaos and pragmatic-magic current the book codified a directly psychological mechanism, impressing intention below conscious awareness, and modeled the outcome-driven approach to inner technique characteristic of the tradition.
