Keys to the Ultimate Freedom
Originator of the Releasing / Release TechniqueKeys to the Ultimate Freedom gathers the teaching of Lester Levenson, who held that suffering, ill health, and lack rest on inner resistance, and that the remedy is a simple, repeatable practice of letting go. Its central claim is that limitation lives in held emotion and identification rather than in external circumstance.
The method locates the leverage point in feeling: by systematically releasing unwanted emotions and limiting beliefs, the practitioner dissolves the resistance beneath both distress and lack. Levenson tied this release directly to manifestation, teaching that dropping inner resistance both heals and frees desired outcomes to appear.
Within the modern mind-power lineage the work belongs to the releasing tradition that Levenson originated, later organised by students into the Releasing or Release Technique. Beyond technique it points toward a nondual horizon, gesturing past self-improvement to the recognition of a limitless Self.
In its words
The mind is nothing but the sum-total of all thoughts. All thoughts are concepts of limitation.
Now the subconscious mind is only that part of the mind that we refuse to look at! When our desire is strong enough we will dig up these subconscious habits and begin to let go of them.
Everything you are seeking, you are, and very foolishly saying you are not. That's part of the enigma: everything everyone is seeking with such intensity, one has, and much more.
The only real purpose of being here on this earth is to learn, or to remember, our original natural state of totality, of complete freedom and no limitation.
Ego is the sense of "I am an individual separate from the All." In the extreme, it is egotism.
Real, divine love, however, is a constant, persistent acceptance of all beings in the universe, fully, wholly, totally, - as the other beings are, and loving them because they are the way they are.
Love is the state of the Self. It is something you are.
Be more receptive, - surrender your little self and allow the Power of your real Self to flow until It, the Power, is the only power flowing through you.
Practices it teaches
Releasing the Wants — Tracing a Feeling to Wanting Approval, Control, or Security (Levenson's three wants)
This is Levenson's deeper layer of releasing — the diagnostic move that distinguishes his method from simply dropping a surface feeling.
Holding the Goal While Releasing Resistance (Levenson's applied releasing)
Levenson taught releasing not only as a route to peace but as the way he believed people accomplish goals — by removing inner resistance rather than by straining.
Releasing — Letting Go of a Feeling (Levenson's original method)
This is Lester Levenson's own, originating form of "releasing" — the practice he arrived at during his 1952 self-inquiry and taught for the rest of his life, before his student Hale Dwoskin packaged it as the…
